Job Description
This position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at the resort. Bar Backs are responsible for positive guest interactions while assisting the bartender in serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

General Responsibilities
- Prepares the condiments needed to prepare drinks and performs all other preparation tasks.
- Staying updated on current bar choices including drink specials beer and wind selections.
- Assist in preparing mixed drinks for service to bar guests and for other servers tables as the orders are placed.
- Assisting with special events as needed.
- Assist Bartender with all duties as requested including but not limited to:
- Check ID of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Clean glasses utensils and bar equipment.
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or customers seated at the bar
- Properly store and secure alcohol at the end of each shift
- Restock bar with service items.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Previous bartending experience desired.
- Previous restaurant service required
- Excellent oral communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Must speak English fluently and be able to write basic English.
- Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Ability to read cocktail recipes out of a recipe book and mix them accordingly.
License/Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Oregon Food Handlers Card
- OLCC Certification
- Valid Oregon Drivers License
