ADC Engineer, Cryptography / Identity

The AWS Identity & Access team is building and delivering the next generation of cloud computing security that supports public AWS offerings like S3 EC2 and CloudFront. We are innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed security systems involving identity management federation web services security single sign-on and much more. We enable our customers to control some of the most sensitive secrets on the Internet.

A successful ACE Engineer does much more than plug computers together and track changes. They are instrumental in deploying operating and scaling a massive always-on distributed system that is core to all of AWS. We are looking for a experienced and motivated engineer to join our energetic fast-moving and passionate team.

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that after start the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (IoT) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

- Cloud or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) or Associates degree
- 3 years Linux systems administration experience
- 3 years technical troubleshooting / support experience
- 2 years of networking experience (TCP/IP)
- Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
