Solution Architect Enterprise Asset Management

About our client:
Our client is undertaking a major transformation program in the energy and utilities sector focused on uplifting enterprise asset management capabilities. The initiative involves modernising systems integrating operational technologies and aligning architecture with strategic asset lifecycle goals. The team values deep domain expertise collaborative design and scalable solutions.

About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Ellipse to lead solution design and integration across complex transformation programs. This role will shape the end-to-end architecture ensuring alignment with strategic objectives regulatory requirements and business processes related to asset lifecycle management and maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution architecture design for enterprise asset management programs with a focus on Ellipse (Asset Suite).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable integrated solutions.
  • Develop current and target state architectures solution roadmaps and integration patterns across systems (e.g. GIS SCADA ERP Work Management).
  • Drive best practices in asset lifecycle management condition-based maintenance and performance optimisation.
  • Oversee solution design including configuration integration and data migration strategies.
  • Act as technical lead and architectural authority throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks security protocols and data governance.
  • Resolve architecture-related issues and ensure solution integrity across workstreams.

Required Experience:

  • 10 years in Enterprise Asset Management with significant exposure to the energy and utilities sector.
  • Deep technical and functional knowledge of Ellipse (Asset Suite / Mincom Ellipse) across core modules (Work Management Asset Management Materials Procurement Finance).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing EAM solutions within large utility transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of asset-centric operations field services and operational technology integration.
  • Familiarity with integration to systems such as GIS (e.g. Esri) SCADA ERP (e.g. SAP/Oracle) and BI tools.
  • Strong documentation stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with cloud migrations and modernising legacy EAM systems.
  • Knowledge of Australian energy regulations and asset management standards (e.g. ISO 55000).
  • TOGAF certification or equivalent architectural framework experience.
