We are excited to announce a brand-new opportunity for a 3D post-processing department within Community Health Network. This position will give you the opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge imaging technology transforming raw data into powerful diagnostic 3D visualizations that help physicians with greater clarity and treat with greater confidence.

We are seeking a Lead 3D Imaging Processing Specialist who will lead the daily operations of the 3D lab. The specialist uses various computer applications to process data from imaging modalities (like CT and MRI) to create high-quality 3D images using techniques such as MPR MIP volume and surface rendering. A key part of the role is collaborating with physicians to develop processing protocols and ensuring efficient workflow quality and compliance within the lab.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • Assisting with staff scheduling and coverage.

  • Participating in interviewing onboarding and training new staff.
  • Serving as a resource and liaison for the department.
  • Overseeing the quality and completeness of all post-processing work.
  • Ensuring staff complete required training and competencies.
  • Processing imaging data accurately and efficiently managing workload.
  • Monitoring systems (EMR PACS RIS) for studies needing processing.
  • Collaborating with technologists and physicians on imaging techniques.
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Developing evaluating and training staff on new procedures and protocols.
  • Supporting PACS/RIS integration and daily operations.
  • Supervising and educating students.
  • Radiology Technologist degree (required)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certificate (required)
  • Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) Radiologic Technologist License (required)
  • Certification in either Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) (required) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist ((NMTCB)(CT)))
  • 5 years of experience in CT and/or MRI (required)
  • 1 or more years of supervisory experience (preferred)
