Application Developer Analyst II

Associates degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience but does not negate the minimum degree requirements.

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a professional level Application Developer Analyst to join the Applications Development and Integrations Team a unit within UFIT.

The Applications Development and Integrations Team is focused on building and enhancing enterprise solutions to support critical business processesfor the University of Florida. We are looking for skilled team members whoenjoy using their creative talents to produce business solutions which address the needs of our will participate in projects to solvebusiness problems and create efficiency. You will work in a collaborative team environment participate in thefull software development life cycle and produce quality enterprise solutions. You will be required to meet withcustomers analyze requirements propose solutions create design specifications and prototypes develop and test new code and document solutions. You will perform enhancements and help maintainexisting applications. You must have excellent communication skills keep current with the latest trends inapplication development and have a history of producing quality work. Qualified candidates will have working experience with one or more programming languages as well as SQL (structured query language) and database design.

Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:

• Meet with analysts to gather analyze and prioritize requirements.
• Devise and propose solutions for new projects and enhancements to ERP systems.
• Develop and test new code that maintains the integrity of the ERP systems.
• Develop efficient and performant SQL within the ERP system.
