Roblox is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join the Brand Partnerships team to deliver services to each of our partners. In this role youll work closely with top studios streamers IPs and entertainment brands to develop a presence on Roblox and achieve sustained success on the platform. The Account Manager will collaborate with large strategic brands from initiation to launch partnership management and post-launch wrap-up. This is a partner facing role requiring industry expertise and a proven ability for executing large partnerships with premium brands.
You will help current and prospective partners find long-term success by providing strategic guidance product/policy expertise up-to-date resources/best practices and coordination between partners and internal Roblox teams. For key strategic partners you will anticipate and navigate blockers while managing internal communications and stakeholders.
Successful candidates will bring curiosity and strategic vision into the workplace and be adept at navigating complex internal networks and ever-evolving policy considerations while working with a vibrant creative community of developers.
This role is a Temporary full-time role for a 6 month periodand located at our headquarters in San Mateo California.
You will:
- Support the partnerships team across Brand Partner verticals broader partnerships team projects and vertical specific initiatives (eg Halloween)
- Serve as SME for high-touch entertainment products (Ads Marketplace Experience Guidelines Moderation) navigating policy and coordination with other product teams
- Drive operations and technical solutions for external partners and agencies
- Collaborate internally with Robloxs Marketing Communications Developer Relations Economy Ecosystems Moderation and Legal teams to help support partnership launches
- Ideate creative ways for brands and talent to enter into the metaverse in an authentic way and create presentations to represent this to potential partners
- Support the broader Partnerships team by helping with organizational elements such as streamlining processes pipeline confluence and other internal communication documents
- Work with the Insights team to pull partnership metrics and help optimize partner activations
- Keep up with social media and gaming trends by consuming content and thinking about how it could apply to our partners
- Coordinate and manage internal and external production schedules
You have:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- 8 years experience as an account manager or in a similar role
- Background in content creation with gaming/immersive media experiences is a plus
- Experience working with Brand Partners in a Marketing or Brand Partnerships capacity; and/or working in social media/digital marketing in a partner-facing role
- Understanding of media consumption patterns on Roblox and other mobile social and community-based platforms
- Knowledge of Roblox and Brand Experiences on the platform
- Exceptional project management skills
- Have experience creating and delivering presentations to all level
