Job Duties
Virginia Veterans Services Foundations ( VSF) is seeking an experienced grant writer to join our department. The Virginia Veterans Services Foundation provides supplemental funding for designated Veteran programs and services when state and federal funds are not available. This part-time grant writer will assist with the increase of our fundraising capabilities. This is a remote position; however residency within the state of Virginia is required.
Minimum Qualifications
-Experience with grant research and grant writing
-Experience with determining eligibility
-Must have experience with effective communication which would require
- Experience with generating grant applications
-Experience with creating quarterly/yearly grant reports for impact measurement
-Proficient with Microsoft products
Additional Considerations
Must have experience writing for Veteran Service Organizations. Experience in writing grant for Government agencies is preferred.
