Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for 2500 employees ensuring accuracy compliance and timely execution.
- Supervise and provide guidance to a payroll team of three staff members.
- Serve as a project lead for the payroll system implementation from ADP to SAP SuccessFactors.
- Develop and document new payroll processes workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Train payroll team members on SAP SuccessFactors functionality features and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and processing issues during and after implementation.
- Ensure payroll processes remain compliant with federal state and local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with HR Finance IT and external consultants throughout the implementation process.
- 7 years of payroll processing experience including multi-state payroll.
- Proven experience leading payroll system implementations or migrations; experience moving from ADP to SAP SuccessFactors highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing or mentoring payroll teams.
- Deep knowledge of payroll regulations tax requirements and compliance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
- Strong written communication skills for creating clear process manuals and training materials.
