Job Description:
The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Science is seeking a full-time Assistant Associate or Full Professor - Adult Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry as we expand our academic and clinical enterprise. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the field of psychiatry through clinical care teaching research and scholarly activities. This position offers a unique and dynamic opportunity to make significant contributions to patient care and education in an academic setting as a new graduate or as an advanced professional.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and comprehensive patient care services including but not limited to Adult Psychiatric Consultation Service (which covers inpatient med/surg units and ED) Neuromodulation (ECT and TMS) as well as limited outpatient services.
- Participate in academic activities including teaching mentorship and supervision of medical students residents fellows and other trainees.
- Collaborate and participate in conducting clinical research trials and other assignments according to the needs of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical degree MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry- Must be obtain & maintain within three (3) years from hire.
- Unrestricted OH Medical license
- Unrestricted DEA license
