Job Description

Responsible for the management of member services in the manner most pleasing to the members and their guests. Assist in hiring training and supervising food service staff while assuring high standards of appearance and hospitality


Requirements

Job Tasks

Assigns pre-shift tasks and ensures their completion develop floor plan based on anticipated member/guest count and needs

Takes reservations greets and seats members and guests

Assists in hiring training and supervising food service staff

Consults and works daily with the Executive Chef AGM Director of Hospitality bar manager front desk personnel and other applicable club staff to help assure the highest level of member satisfaction

Prints necessary menus for daily services and private parties

Inputs necessary information into the POS for service

Helps book entertainment dcor flower arrangements and linen orders

Participates in daily facility inspections throughout the Club to ensure the cleanliness maintenance safety and other standards are consistently attained

Assist with service of food and beverage outlets and special events as needed

Receives and resolves complaints concerning food beverage and service

Monitors employees dress codes according to policies and procedures

Directs pre-shift meetings with service personnel relays information and policy changes

Provide layout and design recommendations for private parties and member events

Assures the correct appearance cleanliness and safety of dining room areas equipment and fixtures

Makes suggestions about improvements in dining room service procedures and layout

Assures the Club areas are secure at the end of the business day

Maintains an inventory of dining room items including silverware coffee cups water pitchers salt/pepper holders sugar caddies linen and other necessary product and ensures they are properly stored stocked and accounted for.

Attends scheduled staff meetings

Reports to: Assistant General Manager Director of Hospitality


Other Requirements

Comfortable using POS systems (Club Essentials preferred)

Private club experience or comparable hospitality experience

Able to reach bend stoop stand and lift up to 40 pounds

Able to stand for prolonged periods

Hospitality degree or working towards one industry experience welcomed as well


Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18-$22 a hour
