Job Description

Starting at $55000 conmmesurate with experience

Job Function

The primary duty of the Enrollment Manager is to manage the districts student enrollment department which oversees and manages the admission of all new students and the re-enrollment of returning students in compliance with applicable laws rules policies and procedures.

Duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following.

Manages the enrollment departments people processes and technology.
Coordinates with SchoolMint to ensure that the online application registration packet and re-enrollment packet are updated and functional.
Oversees the administration of the lottery and the management of the enrollment waitlists.
Oversees processes to efficiently approve applications gather required documentation from parents and obtain documents from previous schools.
Oversees distribution of information from parents and previous schools to administrative and instructional staff to ensure that all information needed to make grade and program placements decisions has been received.
Provides reports on a regular and as needed basis regarding the status of new applications and re-enrollees.
Uses critical thinking skills to analyze enrollment procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the enrollment process.
Uses personal discretion and problem-solving skills to recognize and resolve enrollment issues.
Provides ongoing training for district employees regarding enrollment policies and procedures.
Supervises enrollment department (including seasonal enrollment staff) to ensure maximum productivity.
Coordinates with Student Recruitment Marketing Communications and Campus staff regarding implementation of all aspects of the enrollment process.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Extensive knowledge of computer software including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Excel Outlook PowerPoint Word and Access.
Ability to learn industry software including District and State student information management systems.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to implement and maintain a document organization system.
Ability to balance multiple projects within a data driven accountability environment.
Ability to consistently implement district established policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Demonstrate self-discipline and initiative.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to grasp handle or feel;
and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

College degree or high school diploma and 5 years of service in the same or similar position required.
Superior organizational and communication skills.
Ability to speak read and write English.
Ability to speak read and write Spanish preferred.
