Job Description
McMurry University seeks to hire a full-time project coach with the educational background professional experience and personal qualities to support program participants in the Student Support Services program. The project coach will report to the SSS project director. McM TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded TRIO grant program under the U.S. Department of Education.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Counseling Education English Math Science or an area related to basic skills 2 or more years of experience in academic coaching counseling advising or teaching 1 or more year of experience working with college students preferably low-income academically disadvantaged or with disabilities Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of proposed services/activities such as academic support tutoring study strategies time management financial literacy career development etc. Experience in supervising student staff Background similar to SSS participants Bilingual in Spanish
