Job Description:

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to support production and customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete stock. This role analyzes inventory data identifies trends investigates discrepancies and supports continuous improvement initiatives across procurement planning and warehouse operations. The Inventory Analyst collaborates cross-functionally with Purchasing Production Engineering and Finance to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient material flow.

As An Inventory Analyst You Will:

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels safety stock and reorder points using ERP and reporting tools
  • Perform root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and variances; lead corrective action efforts
  • Support and maintain cycle count programs and physical inventory processes
  • Generate regular reports on inventory KPIs such as turns accuracy aging and excess/obsolete
  • Develop forecasting models and stocking strategies in coordination with Planning and Procurement
  • Coordinate slow-moving and obsolete material reviews and recommend disposition actions
  • Assist in planning inventory storage labeling and categorization to improve accessibility and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Production and Planning teams to support build plans and material availability
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory controls and increase accuracy
  • Ensure alignment between system records and physical stock through audits and reconciliations
  • Support ERP data maintenance including BOMs item master attributes lead times and planning parameters

Required Education Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Industrial Engineering or related field. Experience may replace all/some of education requirements.
  • 2 years of experience in inventory control supply chain or materials planning (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle SAP JD Edwards etc.)
  • Familiarity with inventory control techniques such as ABC analysis cycle counting Kanban and MRP
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Legalwork authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred Education Experience & Skills:

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives
  • Knowledge of advanced data analysis tools a plus

Onsite Work Arrangement:

This role is based fully onsite and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities
