Overview
Team Leader - Production (2nd Shift) Temple TX Hiring Immediately
Starting Pay Rate/Range: $21 - $32/hr
Shift: 2nd shift

Responsibilities
The Team Leader:
- Supports the departments daily operations and has an important and challenging role one that is visible to others and requires professionalism and sound judgement skills.
- Provides leadership to work teams and ensure that associate work assignments are accomplished according to developed standard work instructions.
- Work with the supervisor and leadership to ensure productivity quality and safety goals are achieved. They will provide coaching to associate in conflict resolution with tact and in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Expected to lead the team by example and will employee communication in Tier meetings as needed.
- Will be a member of the Temple Emergency Response Team (T.E.R.T) and will be trained and expected to respond in emergency situations.
- Overtime is required.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership and training skills.
- Remain in good standing (no more than 5 attendance incidents and no Step 2 Corrective Action.) *INTERNAL CANDIDATES SEE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS BELOW*
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures and ability to ensure compliance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to communicate problem solving and new employee training.
Certifications:
- Lock out tag out certification
- E.R.T (Temple Emergency Response Team)
Eligibility Requirements (INTERNAL CANDIDATES):
- Must be in good standing.
- An associate is considered in good standing if he/she has no more than 5 attendance incidents and is not in the first six (6) months of a Step 2 Corrective Action.
- Must have six (6) months time in current job position unless move is initiated through business needs.
- Only regular non-probationary associates of Pactiv in Temple who are actively working (not on leave of any kind including disability) may apply.
