Job Description
Surgical Dental Assistant
A Surgical Dental Assistant is needed in Jacksonville FL.
Our Client and Position
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join a well-established state of the art and modern dental practice in Jacksonville FL. This opportunity is with a team that values both outstanding patient care and a positive supportive work environment for its staff.
Salary and Benefits Package:
- $25 an Hour Based on Experience

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of surgical procedures in both Periodontics and Prosthodontics such as:
- Sinus Lifts Bone Grafts Soft Tissue Grafts Implant Placements and More
- Prepare and organize tools needed for dental procedures
- Ensure patients are comfortable before during and after treatment
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and treatment areas
- Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-op care instructions
- Accurately document patient care and treatment plans
Work Schedule
- 5 Day Work Week is Preferred
- 4 Days in Jacksonville Office with schedule of:
- Monday and Wednesday from 8am-4pm
- Tuesday and Thursday 10am-6pm
- 1 Day in Starke Office:
- Friday from 9am-5pm
- 4 Days in Jacksonville Office with schedule of:
- 4 Day Work Week is an Option- this schedule would only involve the one office in Jacksonville
- No weekends or major holidays
Requirements
- Certification Not Required
- 3 Years of Experience Assisting with Surgical Procedures is Required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
