CAMHs Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre is the first Centre of its kind in Canada focused exclusively on improving care research and education for adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities (NDD) and co-occurring mental health challenges. The Centre supports inclusive innovative and impactful work across four core pillars: research excellence clinical innovation education and training and knowledge exchange.
Our Centre brings together clinicians scientists system leaders family and self-advocate advisors and implementation experts to bridge the gap between evidence and practice. We aim to lift societal health by advancing equitable responsive services for people with NDD across Canada. Our work includes leading system transformation projects conducting implementation and evaluation studies (such as Acceptance and Commitment Training ACT for family caregivers) and creating accessible knowledge translation products that centre lived experience.
The Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre is currently seeking a full-time contract (1 year) Scientific Associate to join our team. This position will support a range of system- and community-level projects including the evaluation and implementation of ACT for family caregivers as well as national research and policy initiatives focused on accessibility service transformation and caregiver well-being. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting research coordination project implementation data collection evaluation stakeholder engagement and knowledge translation activities across the Centre.
