What Youll Be Doing
As a Consultant Infrastructure Risk Management you will be part of the Infrastructure Operations & Networks (ION) Audit Risk & Compliance team and will act as an Audit and Risk consultant/advisor responsible for ensuring compliance with CIBCs Policies Standards Processes and Controls related to Risk and Compliance. You will be supporting internal audits tracking deficiencies assisting in ensuring controls are in place to meet regulatory requirements participating in stakeholder meetings to provide updates on risk and compliance activities and raising issues as needed. You will be also assisting in identifying gaps between current processes and compliance requirements and supporting remediation initiatives as well as helping to develop or revise tools and templates to manage and govern in-scope controls and processes.

How You Will Succeed
Audit and Risk Control Support: Assist in preparing for audits tracking deficiency commitments and providing status updates to management. Support the implementation of strategies to improve control health and risk posture.
Ensuring Compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance with applicable processes controls and standards.
Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills to share updates with peers team members and stakeholders.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to resolve operational and process challenges contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Who You Are
You have 1-3 years of experience in technology with an understanding of Infrastructure Operations & Network processes including ITIL Application Operations or Vendor Governance.
You have knowledge of risk management audit and compliance principles is an asset.
