The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Maternal and Child Health & Immunisation Coordinator to lead our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the health and wellbeing of families across a vibrant and rapidly expanding region.
In this role you will oversee the delivery of high quality maternal and child health and immunisation services while mentoring a multidisciplinary team that includes MCH and immunisation nurses a social worker parenting support officers and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the delivery of maternal and child health and immunisation services
Provide guidance and support to a high-performing multidisciplinary team
Plan and implement evidence-based programs to meet evolving community needs
Ensure compliance with legislative regulatory and policy requirements
Foster collaboration across internal teams and external health partners
Drive continuous improvement and service innovation
This role is a permanent full-time opportunity with a Monthly ADO. Total Remuneration Package begins at $155k (Band 8) plus superannuation commensurate with experience.
About You
You are a compassionate strategic and collaborative leader with a deep commitment to improving outcomes for children and families. Your clinical expertise is matched by your ability to motivate support and inspire others.
To be successful you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and Midwife plus postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health Nursing
Extensive experience in maternal and child health services with demonstrated leadership and coordination capability
Knowledge of immunisation service delivery (desirable)
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with families staff and stakeholders
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to manage service delivery in a dynamic environment
A commitment to community-focused culturally safe and inclusive care
