Job Description

Position Title: Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher Opener (Full-Time)
Location: Ethos Early Learning Center South Boston MA
Schedule: 7:45 AM 4:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Are you a nurturing detail-oriented early childhood educator with strong leadership skills Join our passionate team at Ethos Early Learning Center as a Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher Opener! This is a wonderful opportunity to make each childs day start with warmth structure and meaningful learning.

About the Role:
As our morning Lead Teacher youll open the classroom each day set the tone for smooth transitions support your co-teachers and ensure engaging developmentally appropriate curriculum implementation. Youll lead your team in planning parent communication documentation and classroom compliance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Arrive at 7:45 AM to prepare and welcome families and children

  • Participate in the center-wide morning meeting

  • Set up a well-organized inviting classroom environment

  • Lead curriculum planning and lesson implementation

  • Mentor co-teachers and support daily classroom routines

  • Communicate daily with parents including messages and photos

  • Maintain headcounts safety practices and classroom cleanliness

  • Conduct and document monthly fire drills

What Were Looking For:

  • EEC Lead Teacher Certification (Infant/Toddler) Required

  • At least 3 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting

  • Strong leadership communication and classroom management skills

  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Commitment to professional development and collaboration
