$69258.00 AnnualGeneral Description / Primary Purpose:
Integrated Solutions Engineer I under the direction of a Manager or above assists in the design development and implementation of departmental processes and/or programs. Recommends policies and procedures to ensure effective coordination of departmental programs.
Job Function:
Administer and support UNFs Enterprise Applications.
Configure develop extend maintain and support 3rd party and locally written solutions to enhance Enterprise applications.
Develop and support interfaces and integration points between Enterprise Applications ERP and other systems.
Primary functions require the ability to understand and write T-SQL statements code in Microsoft PowerShell develop and deploy solutions in Microsoft Visual Studio an understanding of REST APIs and ETL / SSIS development.
Advise and consult with customers in functional areas regarding requirements for Learning Management Systems and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
Perform quality control activities such as monitoring administering testing debugging and documenting configurations changes and deployments.
Deploy and support completed solutions to production.
Plan organize and document work efforts prioritize multiple projects and may coordinate and guide the technical efforts of other stakeholders.
During declared campus emergencies this position may be required to perform specific job-related duties at a designated off-campus location or place of residence.
Marginal Functions:
Advises higher management on current trends in information technology that affect the direction and scope of online education systems.
Must be able to interpret and apply University policy to the Learning Management System configuration.
Frequent and moderate level of internal business contact with personnel in functional areas for the purpose of determining system functional requirements.
Attends meetings of Information Technology Services staff; utilizes staff resources when situations require additional expertise.
Departmental Requirements:
Conceptual knowledge of intranet portals.
Familiarity with Change Management process as it relates to program and solution development.
Familiarity with Service Desk Console systems incident management ITIL.
Supervision Received:
Minimal supervision of a verbal and/or written nature. Supervisor ensures that person in this position is aware of and adheres to state University and departmental policies standards and procedures.
Level of Public Contact:
Minimal external moderate internal. Person in position meets with various University personnel and serves on intro-institutional groups and committees as required. May occasionally meet with vendors representatives.
Policy-making and/or Interpretation:
Formulates and recommends to higher management policies and procedures required to provide efficient and effective software applications support to the divisions technology customers.
Program Direction and Development:
Advises higher management regarding current trends in application development.
Required Qualifications: This position requires either (a) Masters degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization; (b) Bachelors degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and two years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 6 years of direct experience.
