The part-time special education intervention specialist (formerly called tutor) is responsible for developing and providing academic instruction for students with special needs in a school setting. The intervention specialist is responsible for the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) academic achievement of students implementation of intervention plans and recording student progress. The intervention specialist will communicate with classroom teachers parents families and other stakeholders. Position requires candidates to work 10-32 hours per week at the certified hourly rate of pay.
