Job Description

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading writing & speaking common English vocabulary. In Department of Developmental Disabilities must also possess a high school diploma or a certificate of high school equivalence pursuant to Chapter 5123:2-3-01(F) (1) (c). For positions that require operation of motor vehicle to transport consumers to recreational educational &/or occupational activities a valid drivers license is required.

Accepting applications forTherapeutic Program Workers (Variable full-time & part-time shifts available)

Starting Hourly Pay: $21.63 per hour

  • 1st Raise in 4 Months (increase to $21.97 per hour)
  • $500 bonus after 120 days
  • $500 bonus after one year
  • Multiple pay increases over your first 3.5 years of service with an end salary of $24.66 per hour ($51293 per year) for first shift employees. This does not even include overtime opportunities or shift differential pay!
  • Shift differential pay for 2nd& 3rdshift
  • Potential for up to $2000 in referral bonuses
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Medical Coverage Available the 1stof the Month Following Start Date

What does a Therapeutic Program Worker do

A Therapeutic Program Worker (TPW) is a direct care worker that helps residents with daily living skills and assists them with becoming more independent to achieve their goals. Support given to the individual will vary based on each persons needs and capabilities.
