Anticipated Hiring Range: $19.57 - $22.52 Hourly
Water Systems Tech I: $21.54 - $28.03 Hourly
Anticipated Hiring Range: $21.54 - $24.78 Hourly
Water Systems Tech II: $23.70 - $30.82 Hourly
Anticipated Hiring Range: $23.70 - $27.26 Hourly

Job Summary:

The City of Greeley is seeking a Maintenance Technician or Water Systems Technician l II to join the Transmission and Distribution Construction Crew Team in the Water and Sewer Department. The Technician will report to the Transmission and Distribution Construction Crew Supervisor and will assist in the routine repair and maintenance of water mains throughout the City. The successful Technician will install water mains inspect and perform necessary repairs of water leaks and infrastructure replace water pipes and safely and effectively operate equipment. The position requires field work involving working in confined spaces excavation trenches and near the operation of heavy equipment. Specific tasks may involve operating various equipment keeping logs on corrections ordering and installing replacement parts etc. Stand-by duty for emergency call-in is rotated among division employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Travel: This position is primarily spent in the field up to 85% of a daily schedule within City limits; may travel to worksites in the Northern Colorado area a few times per year or to attend training conferences.
