Job Description

American Sign Language Teacher (July 17 2025)Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time for the 2025-2026 School to: The Principal of Purcell Marian High SchoolJob Overview: Purcell Marian High School is seeking a dynamic and passionate American Sign Language (ASL) Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. Both Full-Time and Part-Time options are available. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in ASL instruction a commitment to engaging and differentiated teaching and a desire to contribute to the vibrant faith-based community at Purcell Marian. This position will teach multiple levels of ASL with a focus on helping students achieve conversational fluency in the :Must be able to plan and deliver engaging ASL curriculum aligned with Purcell Marians curriculum and academic an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse technology active learning and authentic ASL resources to enhance with colleagues within the World Languages Department and across effectively with students families and staff to support student fully in the life of the school including faith formation opportunities staff meetings and co-curricular :Bachelors degree required masters Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain appropriate in American Sign teaching experience at the high school level to Catholic education and the mission of Purcell Marian High send a cover letter and resume to Purcell Marian is focused on inclusivity and developing a diverse team.
