Financial Analyst – Real Estate Transactions & Internship Program Lead

Location: Midvale UT - 800 E Fort Union Blvd Midvale UT

Work Schedule: Hybrid Minimum 4 days per week in the office - 1 day remote

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team which focuses on real estate transactions investment modeling and team development. This individual will play a pivotal role in underwriting acquisitions managing transaction workflows and serving as the lead mentor for our internship program.

This is not a traditional entry-level analyst role. This position requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of real estate finance proficiency in Excel modeling and the ability to engage confidently with seasoned investors. The ideal candidate is analytical detail-oriented collaborative and excited about both numbers and people.

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate Underwriting & Financial Modeling

• Build and manage sophisticated Excel models for real estate acquisitions and developments.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses cash flow forecasts and return projections to support investment decisions.
• Assist in responding to investor questions and due diligence inquiriesoften from high-caliber professionals with advanced degrees and deep industry expertise.

Transaction Coordination

• Support and coordinate various aspects of the real estate acquisition process.
• Assist with managing due diligence legal documentation insurance applications financing requirements and closing logistics.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams third-party consultants legal counsel and investors to ensure smooth deal execution.

Internship Program Leadership

• Oversee the companys internship program for the Business Development Team managing 12 interns per year.
• Develop onboarding training and development plans to enable interns to make meaningful contributions to the team.
• Provide mentorship assign projects and evaluate intern performance in coordination with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in finance accounting real estate or a related field.
• 13 years of relevant experience in real estate finance investment analysis or similar.
• Strong Excel skills comfort with complex modeling is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and problem-solve independently.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to deadlines.
• Willingness to work in-office 34 days per week and collaborate closely with the team.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $55000$75000 depending on experience and qualifications.
• Performance-Based Bonus: Tied to closed deals and based on a share of the total management fee earned per community. The bonus range is estimated to be between $20000 and $30000 annually.
