Threat Tec is seeking a Head of Mission Engineering to lead one of the most critical growth pillars in our company. This is a senior executive role for a hands-on technical leader with a warfighters mindset and a passion for building systems that matter.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of our most advanced wargaming and threat-replication platformsprograms like WRAITH and VEZIwhile leading a highly capable team inside our 25000 SF engineering and prototyping facility. This role is central to our vision of delivering battlefield realism through modular rapidly deployable technologies including AI-at-the-edge robotics 3D printing and 5-axis CNC machining.

Key Responsibilities

Own the execution and evolution of the Mission Engineering division
Lead multidisciplinary teams in R&D prototyping and production
Integrate advanced technologies (AI automation threat modeling) into deliverable systems
Deliver on aggressive timelines with precision and flexibility
Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic outcomes
Build and nurture a culture of technical excellence urgency and mission-first innovation

Candidate Profile

10 years in applied systems engineering defense prototyping or threat emulation
Proven leadership of multi-platform defense programs
Strong field credibilitycomfortable engaging with warfighters and executive leaders
Familiarity with modular design agile development and immersive training systems
Deep understanding of the DoD landscape and operational requirements
