Qualifications:
- South Carolina administrative license preferred.
- Experience in secondary education preferably in a CTE setting required
- Strong communication organizational and data analysis skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students staff and stakeholders
- Proficiency in PowerSchool and other educational software preferred.
Job Purpose:
The Student Success and Accountability coordinator supports school-wide efforts to promote student achievement program compliance and a positive and accountable school culture. This role assists with student scheduling academic and career readiness tracking attendance behavior interventions and coordination of student success systems. The coordinator will use data to support decision-making and ensure that students are on track for program completion and postsecondary success. This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills and preferably an administrative license.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain accurate student schedules and program enrollment records in collaboration with home high schools and DMTC staff.
- Monitor student academic progress program completion status and credential attainment using PowerSchool and other data systems.
- Collaborate with instructors and administration to implement strategies that support student engagement retention and success.
- Assist in the implementation of student accountability systems including documentation of infractions coordination of disciplinary actions and support for behavioral improvement plans.
- Collaborate with student services team to design and implement programs that ensure student preparedness for postsecondary academic and workforce goals including career fairs field experiences and state-mandated assessments as needed.
- Support compliance with federal and state regulations related to CTE programs including data reporting for Perkins EEDA and ESSA.
- Facilitate schoolwide events related to student success including awards ceremonies industry visits and student orientations.
- Collaborate with respective home high school staff to ensure student career goals are aligned.
- Participate in leadership and administrative team meetings supporting decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and student success plans.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and adhere to FERPA and school board policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
