JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Abington has an immediate opening for a part-time Assistant Mens Golf Coach. Penn State Abington is a member of NCAA Division III and the United East Conference. This is a part-time opening that reports to the Head Mens Golf Coach and the Director of Athletics.
The assistant coachis responsible for helping the Head Coach with organizing all aspects of thegolf program including practice and game preparation recruitment of qualified student-athletes.
The Assistant Coachwill need to motivate student-athletes as well as encourage high academic standards leadership skills and manage the teams commitment to NCAA and United East Conference regulations.
Bachelors degree and experience coaching or teaching golf.
Requires the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988 Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security such as those concerning alcohol and drug use crime prevention the reporting of crimes sexual assault and other matters.
