DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform administrative support to the Safety & Risk department to include including administrative details of a confidential nature requiring initiative accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with the development delivery and distribution of driver training programs.
- Coordinate schedules reserve trucks and the track for driver training events to include CVOC MDD and additional training.
- Serve as Lead Instructor for the Agency Driver Training program and assist with the recruitment of new instructors.
- Coordinate and oversee the Agencys physical agility test (MEDPAT).
- Coordinate and oversee the NEO fit testing process and NEO classroom content in coordination with the Safety Specialist.
- Serve as an Agency HIPAA/PHI compliance advisor and support associated training events.
- Process subpoenas court orders and other legal requests.
- Process and oversee the bi-annual motor vehicle report (MVR) check for all employees that drive agency vehicles.
- Maintain thorough knowledge and familiarity with all agency policies as well as local state and federal laws related to Risk & Safety. Maintains and ensures compliance with all said policies and procedures. Update policies as assigned.
- Serve as a backup for records requests and processing.
- Monitor and maintain the Agency driving software program (GPS Mobile Solutions) as assigned.
- Assist with the preparation of written safety and health programs manuals and policies.
- Support all aspects of the Safety/Human Resources team activities or execute other projects or process improvements as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with all agency and job-related training and certifications.
- Participates in Agency and department improvement initiatives as a team member planning process participant and/or idea generator.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years of experience preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance areas and training experience is preferred.
- Must be well organized and must have the ability to be efficient in a rapidly changing environment
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to work weekends when required.
SALARY RANGE: Starting pay $23.23/hr; additional based on experience.
