Digital Growth Marketeer

THIS WILL BE YOUR POSITION

At the Royal Belgian Football Association we do everything we can to win on and off the pitch. We believe in the power of data digital innovation and smart marketing to bring our fans even closer to our federation. Thats why we are looking for a Digital Growth Marketeer with a hunger for results a passion for fans and a drive to make impact.

In this role you will be at the forefront of our growth ambitions. Your mission To grow our fan base both in our stadiums and in our digital platforms. To deepen our understanding of those fans through data. To strengthen their loyalty and engagement. And from there to drive commercial growth: through new revenue streams increased ticketing income (Red Devils Red Flames U-21) stronger merchandising performance improved sponsor return and higher sponsor revenues (both current and new partners).

As a Digital Growth Marketeer you play a key role in our digital strategy. This role is all about realising digital impact through smart personalisation sophisticated technology and modern marketing techniques. You make the difference by continuously searching for better faster and smarter ways to optimise campaigns. You build campaigns that convert and score with automation segmentation and optimisation.

The following tasks will be part of your duties:

  • As end-to-end owner of full-funnel marketing campaigns (acquisition retention conversion) you are responsible for the results of the campaigns that you develop implement and optimise;
  • You develop our email campaigns and marketing automation flows from start to finish: from layout and segmentation to testing analysis and reporting;
  • You consider the entire digital customer journey and build automated campaigns that reach fans at the right time with the right message;
  • Together with the data team you define and activate target groups based on behavioural data and fan profiles. To do this you create smart marketing automation flows and personalisation based on user behaviour;
  • You set up A/B tests and translate insights into digital improvements to achieve the predetermined goals;
  • You translate campaign objectives into concrete data-driven actions and KPIs. You present results in clear dashboards and insights;
  • You help set up digital campaigns to reach our business groups (tickets merchandise memberships hospitality etc.);
  • You closely follow trends and tools in digital marketing with a special interest in performance conversion and automation.

DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS PROFILE

  • You have 3 years experience in a role directly related/involved in digital marketing email campaigns marketing automation etc.;
  • You are not afraid of numbers you are a fan of data analysis KPIs and conversion optimisation;
  • Meta & Google hold no secrets for you. Terms such as lookalike audience CPM CTR sound familiar to you. You know perfectly well how to set up bannering and social media campaigns in these platforms to reach the right target audience;
  • You have worked with omni-channel platforms such as or similar mailing/CRM platforms;
  • You have experience in leveraging data to drive decision making for marketing decisions;

Your language skills

  • You have a strong command of English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a valuable asset.

  • Youre a strong communicator and organizer;
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and can work easily in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines;
  • You are analytical result-oriented and get energy from devising implementing and fine-tuning campaigns;
  • You are creative innovative and dare to take initiative but you also work in a structured and solution-oriented manner within deadlines;
  • You are eager to learn closely follow digital trends and have a natural drive to always improve;
  • An affinity with sports entertainment or fan experience is a bonus - but your digital mindset and can-do mentality are the most important to us;
  • You have a passion for improving and developing the Belgian football ecosystem;
  • You are constantly searching for improvement and solutions;
  • Service and integrity are important for you;
  • You enjoy being part of a high performance team.
