POSITION: Education Faculty
EMPLOYMENT SPECIFICS: Full-Time Faculty (187 days) Appointment. 1.11 FTE
PURPOSE/SUMMARY OF JOB:
The Education Faculty develops implements and manages the plan for offering education courses at Morgan Community College (MCC). The position will develop implement and evaluate curriculum appropriate to MCCs BAS degree(s) in Education and transfer preparedness and matriculation into a baccalaureate level teacher preparation program that meet the needs of primary and secondary education partners across the region the college serves. This position shall provide vision and leadership to MCC for immediate and future offerings of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Technical Education and the pending BAS in Elementary Education.
The Education Faculty will teach EDU or ECE courses (relevant to qualifications) with a three-credit release time in fall and spring semesters (6 credit annual release) for program development and administrative duties. A variety of instructional delivery modalities (synchronous online remote) will be utilized via WebEx/Zoom and a Learning Management System. The faculty member will also work with part-time instructors to provide mentoring and help with the implementation of assessment strategies. The faculty member may be asked to teach in the summer semester for additional remuneration. Teaching assignments may be scheduled at various times including evening and weekend offerings.

This position is responsible for the management of the plan for education courses at Morgan Community College. The Education Faculty member will be responsible for the development of processes to ensure the proper compliance of the education programs including completion.
Anticipated Start Date: September 2025
Salary and Benefits:
$50000 - $62500 based on education skills and experience. Benefits include health life dental insurance vision LTD & benefit package in accordance with Colorado Community College and Occupational Education System policies. No relocation assistance is provided.

About Morgan Community College (MCC):
MCC is one of 13 colleges comprising the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). The college has consistently been named a Great College to Work for by the Chronicle of Higher Education in the past decade.
MCC is located on I-76 80 miles northeast of Denver and approximately 100 miles east of Rocky Mountain National Park. MCC provides high quality lower division transferable courses and occupational education culminating in a variety of certificate associate and baccalaureate degree programs through traditional innovative and non-traditional delivery methods to an 11500 square mile service area in eastern Colorado.
