Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Project Engineer to lead the construction of a new Validation Lab at the ECO1 site. This role will be responsible for coordinating civil and mechanical engineering aspects of the project to ensure timely and quality execution. The ideal candidate will bring cross-disciplinary experience in civil and mechanical works and be prepared to contribute to Combined Heat and Power (CHP) projects in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the planning execution and completion of the Validation Lab construction project.
  • Coordinate all engineering activities including mechanical civil and architectural scopes.
  • Review and validate engineering designs construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Interface with contractors vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress control budgets track milestones and report status to leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards regulatory requirements and quality protocols.
  • Support infrastructure planning and engineering for potential future CHP projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in EngineeringMechanical or Civil preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 36 years of relevant engineering and construction project experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in civil works with mechanical integration or vice versa.
    • Exposure to utilities infrastructure lab environments or similar capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction phases procurement and contractor oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or familiarity with Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP EHS standards and facility commissioning practices.
