The Generalist People Services monitors trending factors and supports initiatives which contribute to employee retention and culture. Provides support to navigate employee performance and compensation conversations in alignment with adherence to policies and procedures; directs to Enterprise Business Services as appropriate. Coordinates Talent Acquisition functions with Enterprise Business Services and Local Hiring Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
Provides People Services support to local managers/staff.
Supports communication around compensation and rewards for employees.
Provides employment policy and procedure guidance to employees and managers.
Supports adherence to hospital policies and practices.
Supports navigation of compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations in day-to-day local operations.
Supports Hiring Managers to select and utilize standard Job Descriptions/ Titles in alignment with organizational policies.
Coordinates candidate interviews for site/facility open positions in partnership with Enterprise Business Services- Talent Acquisition.
Coordinates employee onboarding orientation and deployment incorporating local market ways of working and site-specific organizational information for a seamless new hire experience.
Monitors People Services trends and metrics to support leadership decisions initiatives and drive retention.
Supports relationships in the community with various sourcing avenues and events to cultivate strong pool of potential candidates.
Supports employee recognition and rewards events/ initiatives.
Drives key performance indicators including Employee Satisfaction / Engagement (CoSE Scores) Voluntary and Involuntary Employee Turnover rate.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Associates Degree: Required (Bachelors preferred)
Experience:
Healthcare Experience: Preferred
