Job Summary:
The Section of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology of the University of Colorado School of Medicine (CU SOM) is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Pediatric Allergist for a faculty position based in the Childrens Hospital Colorado Colorado Springs outpatient clinic. Primary responsibilities will include comprehensive outpatient evaluation and management of patients with pediatric allergy and immunology conditions. While this position in Colorado Springs is primarily clinical candidates with academic interests will have teaching and quality improvement opportunities.
A candidate who is more academically inclined to pursue teaching or research opportunities would be suited for the Assistant Professor ranking while a candidate with only a clinical interest would be better suited for the Instructor ranking. Compensation is dependent on clinical productivity and years of experience.

The position is located in Colorado Springs and will provide oversight and direct care for patients with pediatric allergy and immunology conditions in the outpatient setting.

The successful Colorado Springs Pediatric Allergist candidate will join a nationally recognized and growing Section consisting of 17 physicians 7 advanced practice providers and one clinical psychologist. The Anschutz Medical Campus holds a new state of the art Allergy and Immunology center which is one of the largest facilities in the country providing an opportunity to synthesize research education and clinical work. The outpatient practice in Colorado Springs provide dedicated clinical staff such as nursing respiratory therapists and social work. The Colorado Springs position also offers a clinical incentive plan based on wRVU generation

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Instructor: $186290 to $280000
Senior Instructor: $210000 to $280000
Assistant Professor: $186290 to $210000
Compensation dependent on clinical productivity and years of experience. Eligible for annual clinical incentive based on clinical productivity.
The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
