Make your mark in AIG Risk Management
AIG is seeking a motivated Underwriter to contribute to our AIG Risk Management (AIGRM) team. AIGs strong brand in the market has allowed for excellent client retention and relationships along with our desire for strong growth and thus the need for underwriting resources. We consistently provide clients with impeccable service creative solutions with the use of technology and a well-known established platform. Our underwriters constantly deliver in an ever-changing marketplace and world. Areas of focus will be around our core coverages General Liability Auto Liability and Workers this role you will be responsible for underwriting and servicing an existing renewal book along with assistance to other team role includes constant interaction with our brokerage community ensuring our renewals are being serviced properly and out soliciting new business opportunities. Through this role underwriters gain experience in a wide variety of coverages client industries and specializations.
How you will create an impact
The Underwriter II analyzes and evaluates risk and accepts rejects or modifies risk and coverage conditions within limits of delegated authority and in accordance with established underwriting guidelines to achieve underwriting profitability objectives.
