Manage customer backorders for all Ziegler locations
Analyze requests to expedite orders according to a company strategy quickly and efficiently assessing the customer need versus those expenses incurred to expedite
Review open orders from suppliers and communicate ESDs to necessary parties
Organize and publish fixed route schedules from suppliers and to/from all Ziegler locations
Track and resolve user issues using Zieglers incident tracking software
Track out-of-stock rates against target and recommend appropriate revisions to inventory parameters
Analyze backorder patterns from customer purchasing history and recommend changes to stocking levels including short and long term trend analysis by major/minor categories and by customer
Communicate with operations personnel at all Ziegler locations to track and resolve issues
Aid in the identification analysis and disposition of daily parts returns and periodic surplus returns
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management on key performance areas
Serve as the primary contact for customer backorder and sourcing questions to Caterpillar and other suppliers as assigned
Provide backup for other Inventory Control department positions as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; 4-year degree preferred
APICS CPIM or relevant professional planning association certification preferred
5 - 7 years of experience in the construction or agricultural machinery industry preferred
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams with remotely located members
Great customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Strong time management organizational and planning skills
Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and make solid decisions under pressure
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Travel:
Up to 10% travel
Minimum physical requirements:
Standing talking hearing using hands.
Working conditions will primarily be indoors. Noise level may be moderate at times.

The pay range for this position is
$26.32 to $31.57Starting wage is dependent on skills experience education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicants location. Along with competitive pay full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
