UFTRING CHEVROLET IS LOOKING TO FILL THE ROLE OF A PARTS INVENTORY CONTROLLER!

A Parts Inventory Controller manages and controls the inventory of parts ensuring adequate stock levels accurate tracking and efficient use of resources. This role involves monitoring inventory levels optimizing storage space and managing supplier relationships to minimize costs and prevent downtime.
PAY IS BEGINS AT $16.00 AN HOUR. We have a thorough but FAST hiring process!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check in and tag incoming parts orders
- Pull purchase parts from stock.
- Reconcile REM and R&R inventory weekly
- Verify will calls and back orders weekly.
- Assist Service Technicians
- Assist Parts counter personnel as needed
- Keep current on new products and updates
- Participate in training programs
- Provide high level service to the other dealership departments as is given to other customers
QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS:
- Basic automotive knowledge
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- One year of experience in an automotive parts department
- Ability to work well with public sometimes with several customers at a time
- Professional personal appearance.
- Must possess a valid IL drivers license with an acceptable driving record

SCHEDULE:
- Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Some Saturdays
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- The compensation for a Parts Inventory Controller starts at $16.00 an hour.
