You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailHalifax Water is accepting applications for One (1) Regular/Fulltime Procurement Supervisor in the Corporate Services Department. Reporting to the Manager of Procurement the Procurement Supervisor is directly responsible for the delivery of the full range of procurement services to Halifax Waters business units. As an integral team member of Procurement the Supervisor will ensure corporate compliance and adherence to the Procurement Policy provincial and federal legislation and trade agreements while protecting the organization from exposure to risk. This position provides leadership and coordination of procurement activities and direction on complex procurement projects. This position is responsible for developing continuous improvement opportunities and implementing solutions that will drive efficiency quality level of service and reduce costs within Procurement and related processes. The Supervisor uses judgement diplomacy and confidentiality while ensuring the integrity of the entire corporate procurement process.
