NegotiableGeneral Description/Primary Purpose:
The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics is seeking a part-time 12-month non-tenure earning Instructor to teach nutrition position will report to the Department Chair Dr. Andrea Arikawa.
Position responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Teach assigned courses in Nutrition ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives
- Hold regular office hours to provide academic support and guidance to students
- Maintain effective communication with students addressing inquiries and providing timely feedback
- Adhere to department guidelines and procedures fostering a collaborative and professional environment

The position is expected to begin on August 4 2025

- Registered Dietitian credentials
- Masters degree in nutrition or a closely related field
- Teaching/Education experience
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- Experience teaching online courses
- PhD in Nutrition or DCN and at least five (5) years of experience
- Teaching/Education experience for at least three (3) years
