OpsTech Solutions Capital Planning Team is looking for a Program Manager that can provide IT capital planning and project management support directly contributing to $0.6B in annual IT capex spend to support the IT infrastructure in Amazons Worldwide Operations network. As a Program Manager you will be responsible for governing and funding WW Amazon Operations and projects for IT infrastructure in new buildings expansions retrofits and new technology initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage and support one or multiple of Amazons business units: Global Customer Fulfillment Global Air Program Global Transportation Amazon Logistics Emerging Markets PillPack Merch by Amazon Sort Center Network and Initiatives.
- Ensure adequate project funding is secured enabling on time and under budget project execution.
- Partner with internal Amazon teams and build processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations.
- Develop estimates assumptions schedules cash flow forecasts track budgets and manage execution plans
- Partner and contribute across all functions within OpsTech Solutions and will actively manage multiple stakeholders including Network Engineering Finance Supply Chain Capacity Global Field Delivery IT Startup Launch Real Estate Construction Operations Engineering and Procurement
- Manage Funding Milestones and Schedule Dependencies
- Collaborate amongst multiple cross-functional teams to align project planning financial entitlement and effective investment decision making.
- Partner closely with downstream partners to ensure funding for a program is delivered on-time and with a high quality driving minimal defects to project deployment and execution.

End to End IT project collaboration across OpsTech teams Real Estate Construction Building Design Operations Design Procurement Finance WHS and Capacity Planning teams to deliver IT product initiatives lifecycles ARMA and launches. You will also interact with varying levels of leadership up to VPs.

- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (Finance Business Supply Chain Engineering Economics)
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes project management and schedules
