Hiring Opportunity: Alachua Florida
Our client is look to hire an Accounting Specialist for their team in Alachua Florida! Our client is a US leader in manufacturing steel and concrete.
The Accounting Specialist would be responsible for organizing maintaining and reconciling various General Ledger Accounts.
Qualified candidate would have experience with General Ledger Accounts Microsoft Office Power BI and some schooling within an Accounting or similar degree.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organizing maintaining and reconciling various General Ledger Accounts
- Preparing Journal Entries timely (daily weekly monthly) to account for the activity in the business in accordance with GAAP accounting standards
- Data Entry of Journal Entries into the various systems.
- Review maintenance & reconciliation of various General Ledger Accounts.
- Detailed analysis to understand account variances.
- Assist with financial audits and other accounting functions as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of General Ledger experience required.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting is preferred
- Competency in Microsoft Office Applications including PowerBI
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy both in data entry and analysis.
