Job Description
Overview
Marksman-Titan Security is currently hiring a part-time Security Officer to work at a location near the Southwest Detroit area.
Currently the schedule available is: 7:00A-7:00P Saturday & Sunday
This position requires a TWIC Card which may be obtained upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors windows and gates.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
- Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty including assisting with directions and general business information
- Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
- Maintain clear accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
- Respond to incidents including emergencies at the property and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
- Maintaining A Secure entrance and exit to the Facility.
- Checking Vehicle Passes to make sure the vehicles are allowed on property.
- Checking Semi Trucks paperwork and directing them to the proper Gate
- Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty including assisting with directions and general business information
- Other duites as required
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and an extensive background check
- Able to read write speak and understand English
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job which can include lifting 50 lbs completing foot patrols walking up and down stairs working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a security officer
- TWIC Card
- Valid Drivers License / Clean Driving record
