Job Description

Position Description:
Kalman & Company Inc. is seeking a Material Coordinator for a position onsite in Coronado CA. Knowledge of CBR masks and individual protection equipment is desired. Applicants must have a willingness to follow all safety and conduct rules and comply with company policies. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. Extended periods of standing lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.

The base pay rate is $30.31/hr.

Specific Duties:

  • Primary duties and responsibilities include:
  • Assisting the Team Lead / Manager in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task as directed.
  • Provide technical knowledge where applicable.
  • Facilitate accurate inventory of all Chemical Biological and Radiological (CBR) assets counted daily by use of established warehouse (WMS) and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Assist in and complete CBR Fit Test and Size (FT&S) missions and ensure accuracy of collected FT&S data.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities by way of visual technical and cyclic inspection on all CBR equipment utilizing established processes procedures and technical guidance while complying to all safety conduct and company policies and procedures as defined.

Required Education/Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • Position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance and maintaining that clearance with 6-month re-verification.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • This position requires the ability to work on their feet for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment and to lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • The position requires that the individual be knowledgeable with Microsoft Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel.
