Job Description

Hillcrest Youth Services is looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join our team as the Healthy Families Supervisor. This full-time position plays a vital role in guiding a dedicated team fostering partnerships with community organizations ensuring compliance with program standards and working closely with Healthy Families Indiana. Your leadership will directly impact the well-being and safety of children and families in our community. The position offers a 40-hour workweek Monday through Friday at a rate of $20 per hour.

WHATS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Provide regular supervision and guidance to Family Support Specialists through weekly one-on-one meetings team meetings and daily support as needed.
  • Support staff in developing effective support plans identifying family needs and barriers and implementing appropriate interventions to help families achieve their goals.
  • Oversee referral and assessment processes including receiving referrals reviewing assessments for accuracy and completeness assigning cases and ensuring timely data entry into Family Wise.
  • Monitor case progress documentation time logs and travel expenses to ensure quality and program compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison with community partners and agencies representing the program and maintaining collaborative relationships.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations monitor adherence to agency policies approve time off and manage overtime.
  • Participate in weekly supervision with the Program Manager and attend required trainings and management meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold the values and standards of Hillcrest.

Job Qualifications

WHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Bachelors degree in human services.
  • Knowledge of maternal and infant health as well as child abuse and neglect.
  • Culturally sensitive with superior supervisory skills.
  • One (1) year minimum proficient practice providing home-based services.
  • Experiencewith family-centered strength based primary prevention services and providing culturally appropriate services to diverse populations.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks fingerprinting CPS check sex offender registry check and drug screen.
