We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk CouncilsHousing Repairs and Maintenance team as a Resident Liaison Officer.
Your role
Working within the Housing Maintenance team you will work closely with Housing teams to arrange access to properties for a wide variety of purposes. These can include statutory inspections and servicing essential repairs improvement works and surveys. Spending a high proportion of your time visiting tenants and engaging with them removing the barriers which stop our staff and contractors from gaining access to their homes.
What you will need
You will have previous experience in working in a customer focused roleand dealing with the public in difficult situations. The ability to communicate with a wide variety of tenants at times in demanding circumstances it is essential that you can remain resilient in these situations.
A Level 3 or equivalent qualificationis required with this role and good IT skills i.e proficient in Microsoft packages.
