About Resource Strategy and Optimization team:
Our Resource Strategy and Optimization team is looking for a Senior Officer Workforce Planning. This role willplay a pivotal partindeveloping implementing and managing CPGs integrated and long-term workforce planning strategies.
The Senior Officer will focus on delivering critical data-driven insights and analytical support to ensure effective workforce planning forecasting and organizational design. They will leverage advanced data analysis techniques statistical methodologies and innovative approaches to develop and maintain data models dashboards and forecasting tools. These tools will inform decision-making optimize resource allocation and enhance operational efficiency to align with the needs of capital program analyzing workforce trends and identifying opportunities for improvement the Senior Officer will support the development of long-term workforce planning strategies. These roles will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to deliver data-driven recommendations and streamline reporting processes driving impactful outcomes to meet the evolving needs of CPG.
What will I be doing
- Collect clean and validate workforce data to ensure accuracy and reliability for decision-making aligned with capital delivery objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards reports and forecasting models to support workforce capacity planning skill alignment and resource optimization.
- Analyze workforce trends and organizational data to identify gaps inefficiencies and opportunities for improving team agility and alignment with capital program demands.
- Collaborate with HR and project teams to evaluate staffing levels forecast future needs and provide insights on cost-effective resource allocation strategies.
- Build visualizations and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Support workforce planning by developing predictive models and scenario analyses that address short- and long-term capital delivery requirements.
- Automate and streamline reporting processes to enhance efficiency reduce manual effort and provide timely data for strategic decision-making.
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need
- Completion of a degree in Human Resources Business Administration Information Technology Computer Science or related field or a combination of education training and experience deemed equivalent.
- Significant experience in data analytics workforce planning or HR analytics including designing and implementing data-driven workforce strategies.
- Knowledge of statistical methodologies data modeling and predictive analytics to support workforce forecasting and organizational design.
- Knowledge of data collection validation and management using tools such as MS Excel and MS Access ensuring data accuracy and integrity for analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of performance measurement principles and methods for evaluating workforce performance.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices and project management tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Proficient in Excel and strong experience with data analytics HR database (i.e. Oracle HR) Microsoft BI and visualization tools to present complex statistical data in a pictorial or graphical format.
- Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders and partners.
- Excellent organization a high degree of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Relationship management and consulting skills to build rapport and credibility to work with all levels in the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; excellent visual management capabilities.
- Knowledge of change management theories methodologies best practices tools and techniques Experience and knowledge of process improvement principles and methodologies (i.e. LEAN).
