Job Description
Driver & Warehouse Associate
At PowerPak we rely on a willing team to do whatever it takes to offer incredible service to our customers and complete deliveries in the Baltimore Metro area in a timely fashion. Were a fast-growing team looking for awesome people to join us that have a passion for helping customers!
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load unload prepare inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients complaints
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Where required collect payments and inform customers about new products and services
- Pick parcel & pallet orders and prepare for dispatch
- Retrieve orders according to quantity size etc. ensuring accuracy
- Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
- Wrap orders before loading on trucks
- Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards
Skills:
- High school diploma
- Able to read and write in English
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver with at least 5 years of experience
- Valid professional drivers license with a clear driving record including no traffic violations
- Good physical strength and stamina. Must be able to lift 30lb - 50lb boxes frequently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Diligent and punctual
