Job Description

Assignment: Half-day Title I Aide / Half-day PE & Swim AideSalary: Salary will be determined as per the Board approved classified salary scheduleDeadline: Until filledOverviewAyersville Elementary is seeking a full-time aide to support students in both academic and physical education settings. The role includes small group or one-on-one instruction in reading and math (Title I) and assisting with swimming instruction and safety during PE ResponsibilitiesProvide reading writing and math support under teacher guidanceAssist in swim instruction water safety and pool supervisionSupport students in the locker room to ensure safety and orderMonitor and document student progressCommunicate effectively with staff and familiesMaintain a safe positive and respectful learning environmentRequired QualificationsHigh school diplomaEligible for ODE Educational Aide PermitMust pass BCI/FBI background checksAbility to assist in water; basic tech and communication skillsMaintain confidentiality and professionalismPreferredExperience with elementary studentsFamiliarity with Title I/intervention strategiesBackground in swim instruction or water safetyFirst Aid/CPR or Lifeguard/WSI certification preferred
