Job Description
Interwest Consulting Group was founded in 2002 and has become a leader in providing municipal services to cities and counties throughout the Western United States. We currently have over 300 employees specializing in public works building and safety planning engineering and real estate acquisition. - Oversee plan checking for encroachment permits
- Review traffic control plans for compliance with City Standards
- Oversee the coordination and contact with utilities and other City Departments
- Resolve field issues with contractors utilities and consultants when necessary
- Provide construction management support
- Knowledge of engineering planning design and construction as applied to public works projects utility and/or private development projects.
- Knowledge of land use planning and CEQA.
- Knowledge of pertinent local State and Federal Rules and Regulations especially related to the planning and implementation of public works and development projects.
- Proficient in the use of standard office software including Microsoft office products. Knowledge of AutoCAD GIS Arcview and ArcInfo a plus.
- Knowledge related to organizational analysis and management.
- A Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university or working towards degree.
COMPENSATION:SAFEbuilt pays competitive wages and has a 401K.
