Mid-to-Senior Level Healthcare Transactions Attorney
Location: Chicago Columbus Indianapolis or Philadelphia (Hybrid Eligible)
MB Attorney Search is recruiting on behalf of a national law firm recognized for its collaborative culture and deep bench of legal talent. This AM Law 200 firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate to join its Healthcare Transactions Practice Group supporting a dynamic and nationally respected team.
About the Role
You will work on cutting-edge health care transactions across the country including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Joint ventures and strategic affiliations
- Private equity transactions
- Complex management and provider services agreements
- Physician employment contracts
In addition to transactional work you will advise health care providers on key regulatory issues such as:
- Fraud and abuse laws (e.g. Stark Law Anti-Kickback Statute)
- State licensure and the corporate practice of medicine
- Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement requirements
You will be part of a collegial tight-knit team that values mentorship and growth while enjoying the support structure and client base of a national firm. Attorneys in this group regularly collaborate across offices and practice groups offering a strong platform for career development and client exposure.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic performance
- Minimum of 4 years of health care transactional and regulatory experience preferably in a large law firm or in-house counsel setting
- Active bar license in the state where the candidate will reside
- Excellent legal writing analytical and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong business judgment and the ability to manage complex projects
- Team-oriented with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Must have permanent U.S. work authorization
